Earn MFAA CPD points by creating or completing online exams or tests

MFAA

The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the peak national body providing service and representation to over 12 000 professional credit advisers (mortgage and finance brokers, mortgage managers and aggregators) to assist them to develop, foster, and promote the mortgage and finance industry in Australia. As a member of the MFAA, you can accrue Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points by completing online exams, created by your employer,. Or if you are a suitable qualified instructor, you may even earn MFAA CPD points by simply preparing an exam for your students.

You can earn MFAA CPD points by using BrainCog in 3 ways:

  1. 1 CPD point per hour
    By participating in lender ongoing product or process or information seminar, education, training. It must be delivered by an employee or contractor of a lender where the learning outcome is based on:
    1. the understanding of, or interaction, communication, proposal lodgement with the lender, or
    2. an understanding of upgrades to product, E-Lodgement, underwriting, lodgement requirements, etc. and
    3. is not for product or lender process accreditation purposes (Eg: E-Lodgements).
  2. 1 CPD point per hour
    By completing an exam related to Professional Personal or Business Mortgage or Finance Development training, you can could qualify for CPD points from the MFAA. Facilitated by a professional/subject matter expert in the topic where the learning is aimed at broker’s personal or business development as a Mortgage or Finance Broker or as the manager of a Mortgage or Finance business.
  3. 3 CPD points per hour
    For design or delivery of a training program, including a BrainCog exam, which would meet standards expected in (1) and (2) above. You must a Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAA40104) qualification.
